Out In the Cold

[Nami]

(Out in the cold, I needed a new RP as Dizzi stopped replying. xD Therefore, anyone up for it?)

Nami sat out in the cold near the shoreline. She let the wind and rain batter her body though she looked peaceful and alone being the solitary figure braving the weather. Though her arms were exposed to the freezing temperature she was in an almost entranced state. The sea held her gaze once more.

(I did say we had to RP together sometime, any objections?)
Neil had found himself dumped here after a trip through the Bastion. It was freezing, and he wasn't wearing anything like suitable clothing; it had been sunny back home. He wrapped his arms around himself, trying to control his body's pathetic trembling, and started walking. Hopefully he'd find somewhere to get out of the rain before he froze.

[Nami]

(None at all ^^ Welcome Kaida.)

Nami seemed to stir from her trance as the fall of rain was disturbed by the presence of another interrupting its journey from the sky to the earth. She blinked and opened her eyes. Her pink hair fell to her back with a wet 'flump' sort of noise as she lifted her face to the clouds above. "Who has come?" She whispered to them, though just as much to herself.

[Kaida Shade]

Neil's own magenta hair clung to his back and neck in a most unpleasant way. He shook his head and just ended up with strands of it stuck to his face. Great. He dislodged them and carried on. The rain itself wasn't that cold, but the wind coming off the ocean made the drops feel icy on his skin. He wondered dimly if anyone else would be dumb, crazy or unlucky enough to be out in weather like this.

[Nami]

Nami let out a laugh as the pitter-patter of the rain seemed to give a reply only she understood. She grinned in her dazzling manner then stood and brushed herself off. It seems my friends waves, raindrops, and clouds told me I should go meet this traveler and extend some help to them. 'Haps they're lost? Or just coming for some peaceful moment? she thought to herself.

[Kaida Shade]

Peaceful didn't exactly describe Neil's mood right then. Stormy was perhaps a better word. He looked out over the churning water; any other time it would perhaps have left him in awe at its power, but right now he felt nothing towards it but grumpy resentment. Still, pointless to be mad at the ocean, not like it either knew nor cared.

[Nami]

Nami sprinted along, hardly phased by the feeling of the rain in her eyes. She spotted Neil and smiled. "Found 'em..." She waved her arm and hoped he could see. If he was friendly she'd ask if he was lost and maybe offer some help finding his way. If not then oh well.

[Kaida Shade]

Neil spotted her waving and stopped. That hair was fairly easy to see, even in this weather. Pink... such a nice colour for hair. Waaiiiit a sec...

[Nami]

Deciding it was safe, Nami trotted over and stopped in front of Niel. "Hello sir. Are you lost? Not many venture out in this kind of weather." If he proved hostile she always had her two daggers which were always on her hips.

[Kaida Shade]

He nodded. "Yeah... I guess you could say I'm a bit lost. To be honest, I'm not even sure what world this is." He sniffed pathetically, then sneezed. Stupid weather.

[Nami]

"You're in Maerinn," she promptly informed him. She lifted her face to the rain and let some of the drops fall on her delicate face before looking back at Niel. "You sound like you need to get out of the rain. ...Sniffles? You've probably got yourself a cold."

[Kaida Shade]

He sniffed again. "Yeah. Do you know anywhere I can get out of this rain?"

[Nami]

"Of course," she nodded. Nami blinked and rephrased herself. "So long as you don't mind staying with me, I'd gladly let you come with me back to my room in the city. Just don't go killing me in my sleep or something such as that."

[Kaida Shade]

He laughed. "That'd be fine, thank you so much. You don't have to worry about me attacking you; I'm harmless."

[Nami]

She bowed. "Then I'm glad to meet your acquaintance. My name is Nami Shuken but I often don't use my last name. How about yourself? ...Better yet tell me along the way. It's best you get out of the rain as soon as possible before you get even more sick."
