A Wandering Wonder

[Nami]

Her eyes widened. "Yes...actually I do. Seems we found out the connection after all... but the only way to get it is to be born one or to get the blood of one into your system..." She paused and laughed, a sound like calming waves or rain water. "Sorry, getting ahead of myself. It's the mark of a Mitè."

[dizzi800]

"A mitè?" Evan said. "It's so great to know finally!" He said kissing her on the lips. "Oh... Uh... Sorry...."

[Nami]

She blushed bright red again and pulled him forward, giving him a lighter kiss on the cheek. "It's okay...I didn't mind, really." Nami paused then explained. "I know about Mitè because I am one myself."

Outside the Inn Evan just stared. "Lets get a room." He said, walking inside. He fginally felt like he belonged. inside, he quickly payed the innkeeper and led them up to a room.

[Nami]

She followed. "If there's only one bed, you can have it. I'm fine with the floor." Nami, having just met him, didn't feel quite comfortable sharing a bed even if they did have a connection.

"So am I..." Evan said, grinning. they walked inside. there were two beds." "So... what exactally is a Mite?"

[Nami]

She sat down on a bed and thought a minute for how to explain. "They're sort of one time shifters... like a beast inside of a shell. The crack is the weak spot in said shell." Nami thought, trying to remember how much her mother told her. Even after asking around it wasn't much.

"O.K..." Evan said. "I'm going to have to read up n it, now that I know what to read. Anyways, night." He said, kissing her again. he took off his vest, leaving his daggers in thier sheaths, and slipped under the covers.

[Nami]

She nodded. "Night..." Nami left one of her daggers on her hip from habit, the other she unsheathed and put under the pillow. "If you wake up first, wake me up please?" she asked as she rolled onto her side and pulled the covers up.

Evan nodded. A few minutes later, He looked around, he found himself tied to the ground looking aqround he saw many people and creatures. some he remembers killing, including the man who attacked Nami and himself, and some creatures he'd never seen before. They crawled towards him. Just as one grabbed his leg he woke up with a shout. "What the hell?" He said. he looked over. It was dawn.

[Nami]

Hearing him shout, Nami's eyes opened. She had her dagger drawn and she was up on her feet in a matter of seconds. Realizing it was nothing she sheathed it and also sheathed the one under the pillow. "Evan? ...Are you okay?"

"Uh.. Yeah... Just a nightmare..." He said. It was something more than a nightmare but he didn't know why he knew it. He sat on the edge of the bed, sheathed in sweat.

[Nami]

She blinked. "Are you sure...?" Nami's eyes held quite a bit of concern. "You're covered in sweat. I doubt it was 'just a nightmare'. It had to have been pretty bad to make you shout like that."

[dizzi800]

"No... It's fine..." He said, wiping his brow. :I'm going to go take a bath." He said, walking into the door that led to the bathroom and letting the water run. He walked back and got a towel. "I'm really fine." He said, biting back a 'hun' he really like this girl.

[Nami]

She nodded. "Well... I'm glad you're alright, then." Nami stretched and folded the blanket back up on the bed before she started to comb through her hair to make it a less messy. The ocean breeze hadn't done good in keeping it neat...yet somehow the windblown and wild look suited her most of the time.
