A Wandering Wonder

[Nami]

Nami brushed some pink hair out of her face as she sat by the sea, watching the waves roll in and out. They almost touched her toes but drew back as if afraid of offending her by even allowing the white wave spray to fleck onto her skin. At the moment nothing went through her mind and she felt peaceful, the only feeling running through her body being joy. Confusion set in after a few moments. She was not released so she didn't quite know about what her connection to water was...she just always felt drawn to it. Would somebody ever break her from her trance?

Evan stumbled through a gate, accidentally crashing into her. "Oomph. sorry..." He said, lifting her up.

[Nami]

Nami blinked, not quite registering the touch until he spoke. "Oh...it's alright." She flashed him a quick smile though it was an awkward one. She dropped her hand away, pulling it from Evan's grip as soon as she was back on her feet. "...Are you alright?" She asked as it hit her that he was the one who had crashed into her for whatever reason.

"Huh? Oh, yeah..." Evan said, smiling. "I'm evan." he continued, holding out his hand.

[Nami]

"Nami," she said, another smile spreading over her features. For some reason she couldn't help but smile back. A very sight blush appeared over her cheeks. It wasn't quite enough to be noticeable but it did give her a little red colouring. She looked down at his hand and wasn't quite sure of what he wanted. A hand shake?

Evan took the hand back, he had wanted a handshake. "So, where am I anyway?" He asked. "I jsut sort of gated here..."

[Nami]

"You're by the ocean," she said. "Asipien to be specific. ...I take it you don't know anything about this area either if you don't know where you are." Nami paused and then looked around, the rolling waves finally catching up to her heels. Though the water was freezing and should have made her jump she didn't seem to feel it. "...If you're lost I could show you around."

"Sure. thanks." Evan said, smiling.

[Nami]

"So umm... where are you from?" she asked, gesturing for him to follow her down the beach. She followed her footsteps from before which were disappearing from the waves.

"That a little personal. But I'm from Hohlstein. you?" Evan said. he usually wasn;t this open.

[Nami]

"Eh...here and there. Can't say specifics but I grew up with my Mum, brother, and sister in a small-ish village. Our house wasn't much and still isn't much but it's home." Nami replied. She walked beside him, her toes leaving tiny dents in the sand to go along with the now shallow footprints from before. "...If I ask anything too personal again you can always refuse to answer."

"It's fine..." Evan said, reaching into the now-almost-flat- hole in his shoulder which was covered by the vest.

[Nami]

She blinked, tilting her head. What in the world is he doing...? she wondered. Nami turned her head out to the sea. The sun was beginning to set and the sky was painted in a brilliant array of watercoloured beauty. She smiled. The ocean always made her smile.

Evan looked at it. "It is beautiful isn't it?" He said, flexing his hands in his leather gloves.

[Nami]

She nodded. "Quite..." Nami sounded a bit distant, like her thoughts had wandered to some far off place until they returned all of a sudden. "It seems to get prettier every time I see it somehow."
