Evan coughed water out of his lungs as he looked around., He was in a cavern, it seemed to have to plausible entrance, just a large room, about the size of a gymnasium. He let out a sigh of confusion. He had no idea that he had actually gone to another world. Evan looked over and saw a large boulder, in the rouch shape of a stool. Letting out another sigh, he sat down.
No sooner had he sat down, a man seemed to appear out of thin air. "Holy shit!" Evan said, nearly falling out of the chair.
"Oh. so sorry. I guess I should have chosen a better form of transportation than phasing.... I knew I should have had a door put in...." The man said. He was wearing a long robe, with the hood up, hiding his face. He made a waving motion as the rock that made up the wall seemed to twist and transform itself into a door. "There we go!"
"Um... Where the hell am I?" Evan asked,
"Huh? Oh. Sorry, you are on Aroth, a new world which is in need of God's. So my... Friend.... and I forged eight weapons. Two daggers, a sword, three shurikens, a bow and arrow, and a chain. Each with their own attributes used in different stages of judgment, or reward or what have you. it would take many a day to explain the nuances of each weapon.." The man explained, fixing his hood. "And we employed the services of many creatures, and people, on different planets to try and seek the owners of said weapons. and what, may I ask, do you have?" He asked.
"The daggers..." Evan said, dumbfounded.
"I see. punishment. And I trust that you have not abused these powers?" The man asked
"Well... You see... I only found out what happened to those I kill.... Three days ago...." Evan replied.
The man started to tremble with anger under the cloak."You mean you have killed innocent people with your blades?"
"I didn't ask for these blades!. and they weren't innocent! But they don;t deserve what they're getting!" Evan said, before continuing. "If I had know what these blades did, I would have never used them!"
"Are you sure about that?" The man asked. There was something to his voice showing that it wasn't a simple question.
"Yes! of course!" Evan replied before adding quietly" I mean... Some people deserved it I guess..."
"It seems that his damned spell worked..." the man said under his breath. "I mean, it looks like we got the right man for the job. Now. I'm going to teach you a few things which must be kept secret. Now, when I'm done, you will be a changed man." he continued, pulling back his hood. He had a round face, with wise green eyes. He faked a warm smile. This wasn't going to be fun for either of them. "First of all. I want you to break all ties of your past life-" He said before being interrupted.
"Wait what!?" Evan said, standing up aggressively.
"Sit DOWN!" The robed man commanded. Evan sat down on the boulder again, being pushed down by some invisible force. "Now. When I say past life, I mean your mortal life. Before you were what you are now. a God of Aroth. You don't need a new name. But you do need to cut all ties. Just disappear. Fake your death whatever. But do not say goodbye nor talk to them."
"But I have a-"
"No buts. If you want, you can have an alias. Now, first order of business...."
