After quite a ride on the dragon's back, all the way to Hohlstein, Stint had taken Jude to a local inn. The dragon he'd fed and looked after before sending it back home to Krei, carefully erasing all traces of him and the human. he'd prefer not getting someone on his tail -said tail he'd knotted around his waist like some flashy accessory.
So far they'd been able to remain largely unnoticed, regarded as merely travellers. It was a good thing the demon had picked up some basic German over the course of his life, so they could get around without much fuss. Did Jude speak it too?
For now, he'd asked the innkeeper to send someone up into their room with dinner, while he took a while to recover from the strain it had been to keep his arms shaped into an acceptable form and texture. It was harder than he thought, keeping that up for a few hours. He's given Jude the freedom to roam around... if he went too far, he'd be able to track him down anyway.

Jude stretched. sure he didn;t know German, but it was a nice place. He was glad to finally be away from demons, if only for a little while. Sure, he was a killer, and a loan officer. but he still had a heart, and could be relied on. Maybe I should give up the loan game. It's not really fun anymore.... Jude thought as he turned down an alley, wandering around the town

Nice place? Not all that safe, and -just like the entirety of Maerinn- dreary and grey under the overcast skies. At least people minded their own business.
Back in the inn, Stint had dozed off into a light slumber, plagued by worries. He trusted Jude not to get into trouble.. not before he'd.. taken a.. nap.. zzz...

Jude emerged from the alley. a few minutes later, he turned around. "Shit... I'm lost..." He muttered. He chose a random direction and started walking.

Hecould technically find a roadmap -here were a few around- and try to just find his way back to the inn, if he'd bothered to remember its name.

sadly, Jude hadn't but he continued to wander anyway. A few hours later Jude stumbled into the inn. "Finally." He muttered, walking up to the room. He knocked on the door angrily. If Stint was sleeping, it would be his own fault for not giving Jude a key.

Stint jolted awake, muttering something slightly groggy in a half-awake daze. He quickly scampered up, and opened the door from a distance, lazily extending his arm the extra metre. "... ah... there you are.." he tried to rub the sleep out of his eyes with his other knuckle. "No trouble, everything okay?" he mumbled, and yawned dully, his ears hanging low onto his shoulders.

"No trouble. But I'm tired." Jude replied, walking into the room before flopping onto the bed.

Stint blinked, still slightly out of it, then closed the door and nodded. "Tired's good.." he stretched his arms over his head and cracked his joints with a satisfying sound. "Your food's on the dresser, by the way.." he thumbed over to a covered dish on said element of the furniture.

Jude nodded, walked over and, after eating, fell asleep. the next morning He looked over to see if Stint was still awake.

Well, actually, he certainly wasn't aleep anymore... he was gone entirely. He'd left his backpack, only taken his smaller bag with him, so he'd surely be back later.

"Aw shit.... Where's Stint?" Jude muttered to himself, walking out the door, and subsequently, the inn. He chose a random direction, east, and walked.

Who knows where he'd gone...
Lolol, I has a sikrit. He was around... but on his own. Needed sometime to think. By noon he'd surely be back.

Jude continued walking east. if he found stint: good. If not: He was away from the demon and all of the drama surrounding him. It was win win.

Unaware of his more-or-less travelling partner, Stint had gone about his own business for a short time. When he didn't find Jude in the inn later, he gathered his things, and left a message with the innkeeper incase the man did come back here, but they couldn't stay in one place for too long. The directions he left were much like the way Jude was taking himself at the moment, so they might meet again later on the day, unless Jude suddenly picked up his speed or something. Stint was heading onward in a hefty pace.
