(Anybody's free to pile in I just fancied an RP.)
When he had left several years ago to 'take a break', he neglected to mention to his associate that he would never be coming back. It had been the twenty side of fifteen years since he'd left, and so far, not a peep. To this day he wasn't sure if it had been a good decision but the combination of an earlier failure at ending his life with what looked like terpentine from the meidcal cupboard and acute paranoia certainly made that irrevocable. That and showing up after however many years with nothing but a gun he hadn't bothered to get ammo for and a pack of self-assemble cigarettes without being able to muster more than a grunt as an apology... God knows what he put in those things, anyway. Doubt he knew himself. As he was having this routine thought of supressed guilt and whimsical self hatred, Josef Franklin stared out a window onto another window, casually pushing a smoking cigaretee from corner to corner of his downturned lips without much thought.
Same shit, different day, comes to mind. I wonder if he ever read Dreamcatcher.

Not much chance for someone prowling around in Verinn currently.. but a certain demon was around, and prowling, too. He'd just had a quite decent game, even if the price had been a rather kitteny-stinging claw-slash over his belly. He'd be back for a game later, sometime... For now, his aimless wandering had made him gravitate back to the city. The Ardan gate as well as Atomos were familiar enough to regard this place as a safe base.
Currently he was clawing his way up a building in the grey gloom, his red layered hair a stark contrast to the dull surroundings, but he was dirty enough to blend in otherwise. He happened to just make his way over the window Franklin was looking at, like some overgrown tripod lizard, relying only on his claws for the moment.

Franklin too several seconds to register that there was a strange man literally climbing up the wall right in front of him. "... I thought I was done with you freaks." he growled, vaguely recognising the guy's face despite the dirt, though, the years played tricks on him sometimes. As much from spite as dreged up memories he leaned forwards and opened the window to dislodge the redhead.

Do remind me where he might've seen'im? Near Avari or something?
Tetra was already a story higher up by the time the window creaked open, and the sound made him halt and reposition himself to look at it. Oho, a living being up here? How neat. He hung from the stone, clawed hand dug in securely, watching him with an innocent-curious expression from across the gap.

Well I dunno exactly but it's highly likely he spotted him at some point.
The Syr leaned out the window and peered up, squinting against the falling rain splashing in his eyes. "You there." at least his voice hadn't lost its authority, even if he had.

Indeedles yes. He's been around here for a while now, as well as having been around at the battle for Avari if I remember it right.
Tetra didn't make a move, kept looking at him. "Yea?" You talkin' to me, buddy?

Franklin stared at him. "Are you deaf?" with the recklessness of a man who had long ceased to care he climbed out of the six story high window and leaned back to look at him unobstructed, with only his hands on the edge of the pane preventing him from falling to his death on the struts below.

"Sasha's not deaf and heard you speak." Tetra pouted at him, then looked down. "That's a really nasty drop, you know." he remarked airily.

"That's my concern." he drawled. "Why are you crawling up the wall." he turned and spat the cigarette out when the driving rain snuffed its glowing tip.

Tetra followed its fall with a brief glance, then fixed his gaze on Franklin again. "Sasha was bored... so why wouldn't Sasha crawl up walls? Sasha could also crawl down walls.. or over things.. Who are you? You'll get wet." Champion of seamlessly switching topic.

Franklin's mind, probably slowed by whatever was in that cigarette, likely hemp, stalled for a moment at the input. "...Who is Sasha."

Tetra let out a barely-audible hiss, drowned out by the rain. "Sasha is.. Tetra." he gave him a stern look, replaced his hold with a tentacle, and used his now free hand to point at himself.

"...Sasha is Tetra is you." Franklin was tired of insane people. He was tired of everything, but most of all the mad, the unstable ones, like the people who referred to themselves in third perspn, or just about every god forsaken resident in this city. "I am Josef Franklin"

"Sounds important." the demon slithered, seized him up. Hmm... he started pondering if he could play with this guy. Wonder why he was here. Just.. here.

"I was. Once. But that time is long gone." he turned and stared longingly at the floor. He rapped his fingers on the glass and dragged himself back inside.
